Code of Conduct
Last updated: June 2026
This Code of Conduct sets out the principles that guide how Apex Digital Lab OÜ works — with our clients, our partners, and each other. It reflects our commitment to building software responsibly and doing business with integrity.
Our principles
- Integrity — we are honest about scope, estimates, and trade-offs, and we keep our commitments.
- Quality — we hold our work to a high engineering standard and stand behind what we deliver.
- Respect — we treat clients, partners, and colleagues fairly and professionally.
- Accountability — we own our mistakes and put them right.
Integrity and anti-corruption
We do not offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes or improper payments of any kind. We avoid conflicts of interest, and where one arises we disclose it. We compete and win work on the merits of our capability and service.
Sanctions and responsible engagement
As an Estonian company, we comply fully with all sanctions and restrictive measures adopted by the European Union, and with applicable international law. We do not provide services to, or enter into business relationships with, persons or entities subject to such sanctions.
In particular, we do not cooperate with companies established in, owned or controlled from, or acting on behalf of the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus. We carry out appropriate checks before taking on new clients and partners, and we decline or end any engagement that would conflict with these commitments.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cease any cooperation with any entity related to the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, or any other sanctioned state, at any time.
Data protection and confidentiality
We handle personal data in accordance with the GDPR and our Privacy Policy, and we protect the confidential information entrusted to us. We collect and retain only what we need, and we are happy to enter into confidentiality and data processing agreements.
Responsible AI
We apply artificial intelligence deliberately and transparently. We are clear with clients about where and how AI is used, we evaluate systems for reliability before they reach production, and we design with appropriate human oversight, fairness, and data protection in mind.
People and working relationships
We are committed to a working environment free from discrimination and harassment, where people are judged on their work. We expect the same standards from the partners we work with.
